Mission Depot - Official Server Map Submission Site Launched
December 20, 2006
U.S. Army and Pragmatic Launch America’s Army Official Server Map Submission Site - www.aamissiondepot.com
December 21, 2006 – The U.S. Army and Pragmatic Solutions today announced the release of Mission Depot for America’s Army®, the official server map submission site and repository (www.aamissiondepot.com) for the America’s Army® (AA) game community.
With the launch of America's Army: Special Forces (Coalition) version 2.8 and the Mission Editor “the next mission could be yours!”
Pragmatic Solutions, in cooperation with the Army, developed the Mission Depot companion site to support the release of Mission Editor which made its debut with the release of America's Army: Special Forces (Coalition) Version 2.8 today.
Mission Depot is a unique user driven community site where players post America’s Army missions that they developed either by modifying existing levels or creating new levels using any of the existing art, sound, particle effects, and gameplay assets already incorporated in America’s Army. Gamers can submit and vote on their favorite maps. Players will be able to comment and collaborate with others on developing the most exciting and entertaining maps for themselves and their community.
The core of Mission Depot is the map review process. Maps uploaded will be reviewed by a panel of experts associated with the America’s Army game. The most creative and well constructed maps will be eligible to become Official America’s Army Maps that may be deployed on Official Honor Servers.
With Mission Depot, users will be able to:
• Submit maps using the Official America’s Army library of Assets.
• Submit a description and Gallery for the community to vote on.
• Comment, collaborate and vote on other map submissions.
• Have their maps approved by the America’s Army panel of experts and deployed on Official Honor Servers.
“Pragmatic Solutions is proud of our continued association with the America’s Army game, and excited to be bringing the America’s Army community this unique opportunity to create maps for AA. This next generation tool of user created content, will help propel the America’s Army game to another level”, says Robert Brown, VP of Business and Legal Affairs Pragmatic Solutions.

About the America’s Army Game:
America's Army, the official U.S. Army game, is an innovative PC action game that provides civilians with an inside perspective and a virtual role in today’s modern Army. America’s Army provides players a virtual portal into the Army, ranging from exploring the development of Soldiers in individual and collective training to their employment in simulated missions in the Global War on Terrorism.
The first installment of the game, America’s Army: Operations, was released on July 4th 2002. The next chapter of the game, America’s Army: Special Forces, highlights the critical and specialized role of the Special Forces in the Global War on Terrorism. America’s Army: Special Forces builds upon the incredibly popular America’s Army: Operations game in terms of player progression, and expands gameplay from the original game to let players gain an inside view in to the world of the Army’s elite Special Forces Soldier. More than 7.5 million registered users have played America’s Army for more than 160 million hours since its debut. On average, players complete more than 120,000 hours exploring the Army in America’s Army each day. The game is available as a free download at www.americasarmy.com or via CD’s distributed at recruiting and other Army events. America’s Army is rated T for Teen.

OMG! That´s awesome!!!
Who will be the first one...:)
ok i got a good question.
The word on the forums is that coop maps are unsupported.
Could someone clarify that for me??
does that just mean we will not get any help from the support team or does that mean we cannot submit coop maps here?
Hooah Hooah Hooah, now to port over my favorite maps from other games, like CoD2.... =D
To sgtmay,
I believe that both of what you said is true. The coop maps won't be approved and i doubt you would get support for it.
To +DreX+
You cannot port over maps from another game into AAME
they have limited the editor so that you cannot import anything period.
i can link??
when are the first maps gonna be uploaded i wonder O.o
www.aa-honor.com produces page not found, domain name expired, or error link result.
At SPC-Beers[75thR]:
Because it's aahonor.com, not aa-honor.com.
when do u approve maps

HOOAH! A salute to the folks at Pr-Sol, the AA Game Team, and the community that makes it all possible.
Is there a list of rules that we need to adhere to in order for our map to be seriously considered for an official AA map?
Quick question. Do you have to personal know someone to get feedback about the maps you make or modify? Because I can not seem to get any besides the people that I was once in the same clan with. Thank you.
where does it say u can create/modify 1?
yes is very important
Good!!!!!!!!!!11
